This record was originally released in 1977. Easy Baby is a great singer and harmonica player who, so far, has not gotten the recognition he deserves. His harp playing has the classic, heavy Little Walter tone, and he sings with great force and conviction.
But, wait. There's more. The truly amazing part of this record is the guitar work from the late, great Eddie Taylor. Since there is no rhythm guitar or piano on this record, Eddie has to carry both the rhythm and lead parts, and he does both beautifully. If you are an Eddie Taylor fan, and you haven't heard this disc, you are in for a treat.
Also, the drumming from Kansas City Red is just as down-home as it gets.
