Will Owen Gage grew up around music. Whether it was his father and brothers singing and playing music, or his mothers record collection, being an artist is something he couldn't escape. Ironically, music became his escape, his relief from the harsh realities and hard knocks that life can sometimes provide. He was always grabbing for his fathers guitars from the moment he could hold his own head up, and was gifted his first guitar when he was 4. From then on his life has been dedicated to making music, humbly and proficiently. Jim Beal of the San Antonio Express News writes, "Will Owen Gage is 25. He's been a far-better-than-average guitar slinger since he was in fifth grade." Will has had the honor to stand on stage with many notable greats, and opened for some as well, and is always looking for the next spiritually rewarding musical experience. It's not about money or fame for Will Owen Gage, but sadly in his older age, it has become a bit more about making a living.
