Whether the Rossi Brothers take on Messin' With The Kid or Rock Me Baby, their rendering's are straight-up-in-your-face-genuine. These men don't merely play the blues, they actually feel the blues - and that's translated beautifully throughout this CD project.
Rooted in well-chosen, fairly obscure Chicago style blues, the Rossi brothers show great promise on this CD with regards to their overall presence and delivery. Deep dish, hard-hitting blues is the best description of the music herein, which should earn the Rossi Brothers a splendid reputation as a serious-take-care-of-business blues band in the hot and sweaty tradition. These eight songs whet my appetite for the next CD by the Rossi Brothers."
