Barrelhouse - Beware (1979)
Barrelhouse
Barrelhouse was founded in 1974. In 1975, the self-titled debut album was released. Following are five more albums, including the live album Hard To Cover, which was recorded at the Melkweg in Amsterdam. The band broke up in the early eighties. In 1993, a start was made with new presentations in the original formation. New CDs with new works were recorded. His latest CD, "Almost There", was released in September 2016 and received the Edison Award in June 2017; the public chose from eight nominated CDs.
In 2019, Barrelhouse celebrated its 45th anniversary, which is why Munich Records / V2 released all of Barrelhouse's albums on CD: The Complete Album Collection. It was released on Friday, February 1, 2019. And in 2020 they received an Edison for the box. Below is an overview of all CDs that are recorded in the original and current lineup.
