The Chicago Blues Meeting is not a permanent band, rather it is a project of Scandinavian bluesmen, some excuse to get together with the "aces" of the American blues. The company grew out of the Norwegian-Swedish Four Roosters, who recorded one outstanding LP and toured Sweden and Norway. The two main figures of the group, Knut Reiersrud and Sven Zetterberg, lead members in the hometown groups. Zetterberg traveled to Chicago with friends and recorded with legends Chess Studio S. P. Leary on drums, Bob Stroger on bass and Sunnyland Slim on piano. The idea was to do something similar to "Session Blues Jam at Chess with Fleetwood Mac".
