The only album by an American band featuring guitarist / vocalist Mike Swain and bassist Bob McKinney. In 1991, Mike was a member of The Breakbone Blues Band for about 5 years. In March of that year, he began working with Bob, bassist and Breakbone fan. By hiring drummer John Kliner, they began performing as The Regulators, but upon learning of another band with the same name, they began performing as The Pounders. They shared the stage with Buddy Guy, Delbert McClinton, John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers, Anson Funderburg & The Rockets, Gov't Mule, Bob Margolin. In 1995 the album "Rockin 'The Blues" was released. Later the drummer left the band. The Pounders occasionally play acoustic concerts.
