 Roy Buchanan was an American guitarist and blues musician from Arkansas, considered a pioneer of Telecaster guitar sound, to the delight of colleagues like Beck, Clapton and Page. Roy worked tirelessly and reached gold status with two albums before he died in 1988. "My Babe" was originally released in 1980 and rated "having one of the 50 Greatest Tones of All Time" by Guitar Player Magazine. As a bonus, there is an interview on the CD in which Roy talks about how the Rolling Stones wanted to win him as a member after the death of Brian Jones. He refused - to do his own thing.
