Michael Burke is a California-based blues guitarist, singer and songwriter whose work integrates numerous influences to create a unique, electrifying sound. While he has played with a wide variety of bands as both a guitarist and bassist--including such acts as Janeen Leah, Monica Grey Walker, Cold Planet, Causin a Ruckus, Patella, Led Zep tribute Physical Graffiti and AC/DC tribute Back N Black, his first love is blues. Growing up and learning to play guitar during the 80s, there was no shortage of amazing guitar wizardry on the airwaves. Though he loved it all, it was really an older generation of blues and blues-influenced guitarists that inspired him to practice--Eric Clapton, Peter Green, Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page. When his Dad took him to see BB King as a teenager in Wichita, it sealed the deal--the sound BB coaxed out of Lucille hooked him for life!
