 Houston-born singer/songwriter/guitarist Vince Converse began his musical career while still a sophomore in high school. He and his band, Sunset Heights, played blues-inflected rock in venues that he was still too young to patronize, appeared on international TV, and toured with acts like Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Johnny Winter, Peter Green, and Fats Domino. After playing with the group for seven years, Converse struck out on his own, moved to South Dakota, and released a solo album, 1999's Nineteen Fifteen, named after the birth year of Muddy Waters.

Michael Hornbuckle has been bringing blues and rock music to people for 18 years. Homegrown in the Mile High City, as was his father, legendary bluesman Bobby Hornbuckle who had Michael backing him on drums at 12 years old. While Bobby's journey ended in 96', Michael took over the torch. When inherited Bobby's old gibson 335, some say a piece of Bobby's soul, and ability to play guitar were transmitted. Michael's quick to point out however, "The truth is, I spent all my time playing guitar cuz I loved to play. I don't know about all that other spooky stuff, but who knows"
