Recorded in France back in 1977, this ten-song set finds Otis backed by strong trio support throughout in a delightfully engaged performance. Though several live albums exist on him, seldom has his declamatory vocals and stinging left-handed upside down guitar style been so well documented. Rush puts forth solo after solo, each with its own unique set of twists and turns, making this a veritable textbook of what he does best. Doug has been crafting his songwriting skills since the late 60’s. Many bands and recordings later, 2011 saw the release of his 2nd solo effort, The Journey & The Deep Blue Sea. This release has met with widespread critical acclaim and is getting airplay throughout the U.S. and Internationally. Doug was able to bring together a diverse and highly skilled group of musicians and singers for this release, from Craig Fuller on background vocals (Pure Prairie League, Little Feat) to Will McFarlane on guitar (Bonnie Raitt), and from Martin Parker on drums (Vince Gill, Don Williams and many more) and Allyn Love on pedal steel guitar (Steve Wariner, Patty Lovelace and others) to Tony Bowman on keys (Edgar Winter) and engineering/co-production. The 10 songs on this release are all over the map stylistically, yet form a cohesive Blues/Alt-Country/Americana blend, with truth and the heart at the core. One of the common threads throughout Doug’s recordings have been his musical connection with Tommy Hartley, a guitar virtuoso who permeates the music.

Daniele Tenca - Live For The Working Class (2011)

Daniele Tenca has decided to bring that record live and so was born Live For The Working Class, twelve tracks, most of his and a fist of covers including the springsteen Johnny 99, Red Headed Woman and Factory, a traditional (John Henry) and a blues by the Italian American Andy J.Forest, Breach In The Levee. With him there is a band that plays with the skill and determination of a proven American rock and roll band, a solid and well-amalgamated band that counts on the excellent work of guitars by Leo Ghiringhelli and Heggy Vezzano, on the rhythm section by Pablo Leoni and Luca Tonani and on the wonderful contribution of the Hammer by Cristiano Arcioni. For his part Tenca puts his voice, guitar and acoustics in the style of those songwriters who alternate anger and poetry in songs whose heart beats on the other side of the street, on the side of those who fight and those who hope for tomorrow best. It is the rock of the working class that materializes in such titles as Cold Comfort, Flowers at The Gates, The Mills Are Closing Down, He's Working and My Work No Longer Fits For You that evoke the landscapes of Youngstown and focus on deindustrialization , loss of work and dignity. unemployment, social injustice and mass impoverishment. The theme is very common on the agenda and Tenca, while standing up like a modern and electric John Henry, does not resort to sermons, slogans and easy conclusions but uses rock n 'roll for his electro-syndicalism and dirties him with blues and of ballads of rust and dust. The sound is what you can find on a record by Bruce, Mellencamp, Willie Nile by Joe Grushecky for which you are warned. It is not the first time that in Italy we hear similar stuff, were the Rocking Chairs to inaugurate a lineage still followed and applauded today, Tenca is one of the last members of this list but for this he metabolized the past experiences in a rock that does not disappoint , for honesty and effectiveness. The record was recorded in December 2010 at the Amiga Theater in Trezzo D'Adda.

Two for the Blues - Closing Time (2003)

Closing Time is the first joint project by Chicago Blues and Soul man, L.C.Walker, and veteran blues guitarist, Tom Crivellone. After meeting on-stage at Buddy Guy's Legends, this duo forged a creative partnership which inspired Closing Time, as well as several other projects with Chicago-area artists.

Roscoe Chenier - Swamp Blues (2009)

Blues guitarist and vocalist Joseph "Roscoe" Chenier of Opelousas was born in 1941 and raised in St. Landry Parish. The son of Arthur and Philomen Chenier, he was a cousin of the late, Zydeco artist Clifton Chenier. He learned to play the guitar at the age of 17 from his cousin John Robinson, at John's home in Nolterville. For the next 37 years, Roscoe dreamed of making a big break in the music business.
Despite a single that became a popular, highly sought after collector's item recorded in 1962 in a home studio, Chenier had a long wait for a national recording deal. He remained faithful to the rhythm and blues music tradition for almost four decades. Backed by his former band, the "Blues Snapp Band," and now by his  last current band, the "Inner City Blues Band," he was a popular performer at southwest Louisiana clubs and festivals. His repertoire consisted of jumping boogie numbers, low-down blues tunes, and soulful scorcher numbers.
In 1994, Roscoe Chenier got the break he long dreamed of, he signed a four-record deal with Avenue Records, which is affiliated with Warner Brothers, Electra, and Atlantic Records. The company was based out of Los Angeles and handled national sales and distribution of Chenier's CD. It was titled, "Roscoe Chenier," recorded in the early days on Vidrine Records in Plaisance. "It's been so many years that I've been waiting for this, I just feel really, really good," he said.
He was a full-time musician who performed at least three times a week at clubs and festivals. He toured the United States and Europe, and played throughout Louisiana at events such as the Louisiana Folklife Festival.
